Unexpected rains

Because of the hot weather and sunny days during the past few weeks, I decided to bring a camera to school one day to get some ideas for my next entry. I thought it'd be nice to spend some time taking pictures of anything outdoor-related.

Strangely, it ended up raining last Friday so instead of getting to go outside, I was stuck indoors. It was okay though, I enjoyed observing the rain anyway and it was another chance for me to try out taking pictures of the rain (...after failed attempts in the past *laughs* ). And to add, I ended up having no morning class so I had more time to explore around the building to find a good place to start.

So here they are! Here's my take on the unexpected near-weekend rain.

Though this one's really a leaf, it still looks like a giant insect to me.

A repeat of the previous photo. I really liked the shape of the leaf, I just don't know from what tree it comes from.
